2025 Holiday Events At The Neighbors Of Dunn County
The holiday season brings with it a sense of warmth, reflection, and connection. No matter how much things change, Christmas still represents time spent with the people who matter most. Whether it’s singing along to carols, sitting down to a festive meal, or giving a small, thoughtful gift, these moments help us feel grounded, joyful, and close to home.
At The Neighbors of Dunn County, we work hard to ensure that our residents have the opportunity to enjoy the season in meaningful ways. With a variety of holiday events happening across our community, many of which include family involvement, December is a special time to share in the spirit of the season.
Here’s a look at the holiday happenings at The Neighbors this year and how families and community members can participate.
Holiday Parties Across The Households
One of our most joyful traditions is the series of Christmas parties hosted in each household throughout December. These gatherings offer a festive space for residents to enjoy music, refreshments, and holiday cheer together, and they’re open for families to attend.
2025 Holiday Party Schedule:
- December 11 – Eastbrook
- December 12 – Even Tide
- December 15 – Morning Song
- December 16 – Red Cedar
- December 18 – Tender Hearth
- December 19 – Inglenook
- December 22 – Central
All parties begin at 2:00 p.m. in the corresponding household.
Guests can expect appetizers, drinks, and music—along with holiday decorations and plenty of smiles. Gifts will be distributed as part of the celebration. These events help foster a sense of connection and celebration for residents, staff, and families alike.
We kindly remind families to keep an eye on their email or our Facebook page for potential changes, as all party dates remain subject to COVID-related precautions.
Become A Secret Santa For A Resident
Looking for a meaningful way to give back this holiday season? The Neighbors’ Secret Santa program gives individuals the opportunity to help make the season brighter for residents.
Participants are paired with a resident and asked to provide a gift, helping to ensure that every resident receives something special during the holidays. With your support, we can help every resident feel remembered and celebrated.
To participate in Secret Santa:
- Email Alyssa Stelter at astelter@dunncountywi.gov
- Or fill out the form available via the QR code provided in our October / November E-newsletter (pdf).
Please label all gifts with the resident’s name. If the gift plugs into the wall, notify staff so our maintenance team can perform a safety check.
This is a simple but powerful way to show kindness and make a difference in someone’s day.

A Note On Staff Gifting
We are grateful for the kindness and generosity families often express toward our staff during the holidays. However, we kindly ask that you refrain from giving individual gifts, money, or gift cards to staff members.
Instead, you’re welcome to provide treats or snacks that can be shared by the entire team. This helps us maintain fairness and ensure everyone feels appreciated in a shared way.
Thank you for your understanding and support.
