National Skilled Nursing Care Week
Each year, we celebrate National Skilled Nursing Care Week (formerly known as National Nursing Home Week) throughout our campus. We believe this is the perfect time for us to celebrate our residents, volunteers, and staff, but also an opportunity to give back to the Dunn County community.
As in past years, we will have special activities throughout the week for our residents, focusing on the theme. This year’s theme, “Live Soulfully” will include storytelling, baking, crafts, music and a friendly “neighborhood competition.”
This year we welcome religious education students from St. Joseph’s Church for an intergenerational craft. We will be rock painting together and hiding them throughout Menomonie to bring cheer to others.
Our volunteers will be honored with a Volunteer Social on Thursday, May 16th. This is a small way for us to thank them for all their hours of service to our facility.
This year’s lunch fundraiser will be held on Wednesday, May 15th. Profits from our fundraiser will go to the Menomonie Public Library.
